Sam Coppock, DVM

Dr. Coppock (pronouns: they/them) is a recent graduate of UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine class of 2024, where they also earned their Bachelor's degree. Not unlike Dr. Schoengart, they originally planned to pursue engineering, but soon realized that they could not stay away from animals and changed tracks at the start of college. Prior to starting veterinary school, they worked as a zoo keeper, professional dog trainer, research assistant, and even a veterinary assistant at Marin Pet Hospital. During veterinary school, Dr. Coppock found their passion in many facets of veterinary medicine, including surgery, neurology, anatomic pathology, and emergency medicine. They spend their free time hiking, rock climbing, and actively supporting the LGTBQIA+ community. Their life is currently managed  by two rescue cats, Barstow and Mochi.
