Dr Lisa Franck

Lisa Franck studied Anthropology at UCLA and taught 4th grade before going to UC Davis to pursue veterinary school. She graduated with her doctorate in veterinary medicine in 2008. While in vet school she was an active member of Orphan Kitten Project, Mercer Clinic for the Homeless, and manned the Pet Loss Support Hotline. She worked at a county shelter as her first veterinary job and has a particular interest in feline medicine. She currently volunteers with Marin Friends of Ferals, Marin Cat Connection and several regular feral spay and neuter clinics, as well as being a part of animal fire relief teams. Lisa has been known to bring cats from far away places including Mexico, Greece and Thailand. She has a herd of cats and bunnies at home, and enjoys nature and travelling. We are pleased she decided to join us full time January 2017.
