Our nursing staff has over eighty years of combined experience. All of our nurses and assistants have a passion for veterinary medicine and animals.

Our lead veterinary technician, Debbie Utter, RVT, has over thirty-five years of experience in veterinary nursing, shelter and wildlife medicine. She has also trained and shown dogs in obedience. She enjoys going to continuing education seminars and staying current on the latest medical advances.

Ramon Urdaneta started with Marin Pet Hospital in 2016.  He is a native of Mexico where he held the degree doctor of veterinary medicine.  After coming to the US, in 1986, Ramon took to becoming a veterinary technician.  We are very privileged to have his skills here at our clinic.  He spends his spare time at home with his family, 4 Chihuahuas and an African grey named Ruby.

Dawn Bedell, our Lead Receptionist, began her veterinary career with five years as a veterinary assistant. She brings her know-how, a compassionate ear, and strong organizational skills to our front office. When not at the hospital, Dawn spends time training her rescue horse Petunia and playing with her two kitties. 

Camille Quintua came to Marin Pet Hospital in 2012. She graduated from Foothill College in 1997, where she received her Associates Degree in Animal Technology and her RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician) license. Over the years she has enjoyed a wide variety of animal emergency and specialty medicine. Camille lives in Rohnert Park with her loving husband Patrick, and two active sons, Jacob and Caleb. Her two dogs, Muppet her sweet Morki akc Lochen and Cricket her rescue accompanies her to work each day on the SMART train. She loves working in a fun relaxed family environment where her skills are utilized and her compassion for animals is valued.

Rachel Barnes started at Marin Pet in 2003 as a kennel attendant. She graduated from UC Davis with a BS in Animal Science with an emphasis in Reproduction and has now returned to Marin Pet Hospital as a veterinary nurse. Rachel has a passion for animals, but specializes in canines and is a successful English Setter breeder and dog show handler. Her dogs are well known nation wide and she prides herself in breeding healthy, well tempered dogs.
