Spring is a wonderful time to beautify your garden, but you may want to check with your local nursery to make sure the plants you are using are not toxic to your pet. Below is a list of common spring plants which are toxic to your pet.
1. Autumn Crocus
6. Tulip Bulbs
7. Sago Palm
8. Daffodil Bulbs
10. Snail bait, fertilizers and pesticide.
Ingestion of any of of the above items is a good reason to bring your pet to your vet immediately. Be sure to bring any product packaging with you, and try to see how much your pet ate as this will aid your veterinarian in determining treatment.
